This is a dagger from Serbia circa mid to late 19th C. The shape and style put this among knives referred to as “bichoq” (with various spellings) and has a distinct Ottoman influence.
The hilt is beautifully decorated with enamel in multiple colors. The pommel in traditional shape with bead decorations along the back and top. The hilt is of two pieces, fixed on either side of the blade tang with brass rivets.
