Code IN91
This is a recong from northern Sumatra, typical of the Aceh.
The hilt is in the peudoi-style, of bone that is nicely weathered by handling over time. The blade 6 1/2 Inches (16cm) is good quality steel with a single large fuller.
The scabbard is made of horn, secured with brass pin. Any glue that was used is gone now.
The overal weight is 4.2 ounces and OAL is 11 1/2 inches
