A small 9 inch long dagger c. late 19th C with a double edged curved blade measuring 5 ¼ inches. The blade and hilt show nich silver inlay of geometric and figural decorations, including a crescent, a star, and a fish. This is a very nice example of charcol blued steel that contrasts beautifully with the silver koftgiri. This was probably made for the Ottoman market as indicated by the particular decorations.
