This is a large and high quality example of a dha crafted by the Hmong tribes and typically carried by menfolk. The region of origin could be Cambodia or Laos, The knife is used for everything from peeling fruit to fighting. The 12 ½ inch blade on this dha is extremely sharp, well-forged with a thick temper line. The hilt is 6 inches made of wood that is enclosed in brass covering with a slightly barrel-shaped wooden spacer in the middle of the hilt.
