The Sulu Archipelago is a chain of islands in the Pacific Ocean, in the southwestern Philippines. The islands are within the Mindanao region and form a line towards Borneo. The archipelago is the home of the indigenous Tausug people and multiple other ethnic groups. The islands are also known as part of "Moroland", the traditional region of the Moro people.
