There are many interesting miniature knives and swords, some cousins to larger versions and others designed simply to be small. They might be a remembrance for the traveler, or a fully-functional deadly weapon. Some are talismans which have spiritual significance -- and power -- but cannot function as a conventional weapon. Others might simply be examples used by salesmen or artisans to show what is available.
