Hulu Lapan Sagu (also Lapan Sagi, Oelee Lapan Sagoe, Oeloe Lapan Sagi, Soekol Lapan Sagi, Sukul Lapan Sagi). The hilt is octagonal shape and richly decorated towards the blade. The ferrule is narrow at the blade and then widens. The pommel features two horn-shaped ornaments that provide the impression of an open snout. This type of hilt one usually is found on Sikin Lapan Sagu.
