Hulu Meu Apet (also Muapit, Oelee Meu Apet, Oeloe Moeapit, Soekol Mekepit, Sukul Mekepit). The pommel is made of iron. The hilt has a short guard which is followed by a broad basket. The end of the basket is connected to the bowl-shaped knob, which protrudes from a metal, round, pin-like projection. The inside of the basket is often lined with red velvet. There are simple versions, but other versions are silver or gold plated and / or engraved. This version can often be seen on Pedang.
