"The blade tips have two forms: most common is the type with a straight flat side and cutting edge which curves back at the tip toward the unsharpened edge (Figure 43a); less commonly the tip has a form resem- bling the prow of a ship (Figure 436). Both point forms are found as well on the shorter knives of the Han period. "
