Hulu Dandan
Indonesian Hilts (Hulu) Type
Hulu Dandan (Hulu Dendon, Oelęë, Oelee Dandan and Oeloe Dendon). The hilt is slightly curved. It is thin, the middle thicker back and runs narrower towards the pommel. Often the pommel is button-shaped. It is carved from the ivory of Duyung (Manatee).
