Hulu Iku Mie (Hulu Simpul, Oelee Ikoe Mie, Oeloe Simpoel, Soekoel Simpoel, or Sukul Simpul). A hilt shaped "like a rolled cat tail". The hilt is straight and the pommel bends relative to the cutting edge. It is round or oval, smooth or sumptuously carved. It is often used on Luju Alas.
