This is a korambi (korambit, kerambit) from Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is a very solid and well made example of a korambi made in tradition manner and form, a type that is relatively scarce.
The blade is 3/8 inch thick at the hilt, tapering distally towards the tip. The pamor is a beautiful example of wos wutah. There is an ada-ada on both faces of the blade as well as double kruwingan.
The scabbard is made of kayu sono wood with a black buffalo horn locket and plaited rattan.
The hilt is carved black buffalo horn in a stylized human form.
